On the morning of September 17th, the donation ceremony and unveiling ceremony of the '59/80R63 Giant All-Steel OTR Radial Tire' by Fujian Haian Rubber Co., Ltd. was held at the Laoshan Campus of Qingdao University of Science and Technology. The general manager of Fujian Haian Rubber Co., Ltd., the deputy director of marketing, and Zhang Hongbo, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the leaders of Haian expressed their good wishes for the 70th anniversary celebration of Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST), and introduced the development history and basic situation of Haian Company. Zhang Hongbo warmly welcomed the arrival of the general manager and his team from Haian, and on behalf of QUST, he expressed sincere thanks for the donation from Fujian Haian Rubber this time. He pointed out that with the 70th anniversary of the university approaching, the donation of "all-steel OTR radial tires" and "all-steel radial tires" from Fujian Haian Rubber has added new beauty to the campus and provided precious collections for the construction of the "China Rubber Museum" at the school. He hoped that both sides would strengthen cooperation and jointly contribute to the technological innovation of the industry.
QUST is one of the earliest universities in the country to establish a rubber major, and Fujian Haian Rubber is a company capable of producing 59/80R57 giant OTR tires. Going forward, Haian will work together with QUST to promote the development and progress of China's high-end tire industry.
