On the morning of May 29th, with a gentle breeze and the sun just right, Zhao Long, Deputy Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Committee and Governor, led the main leaders of relevant provincial departments, Putian City, and Xianyou County to investigate Haian Rubber Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Haian Rubber"). He emphasized the need to firmly seize the strategic opportunities brought by the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, persistently strengthen leading enterprises, supplement industrial chains, gather clusters, cultivate and expand key county-level industrial chains, create a better business environment, and lead high-quality development with new quality productivity. He encouraged Haian Rubber to continue on the path of specialization, refinement, uniqueness, and innovation, focus on the main business, cultivate meticulously, and strive to move towards the high end of the industrial chain value chain. The chairman Zhu Hui, executive president Zhu Zhenpeng, vice president and chief engineer Huang Zhenhua, and other group leaders accompanied the investigation.
In the workshop, Governor Zhao Long showed great interest in inspecting each assembly line process of tire production and the industry-leading high-end equipment units. While walking, he had a cordial conversation with Chairman Zhu Hui, frequently inquiring about the company's production and R&D situation, technological innovation and development, product market share, and global strategic layout, among other things. In the finished product display area, Governor Zhao Long paused to listen to Executive President Zhu Zhenpeng's detailed and proud introduction of Haian's pride——“China's First Tire”——the 37.00R57 all-steel giant OTR radial tire. This product has reached the advanced level of similar international products and has formed the first domestic production technology for the largest 57-inch specification OTR radial tire products at that time. He deliberately took a few steps forward to "zero distance" feel the pride of the rise of national brands.
The "big brother" of the "Luan" brand series of tires on display in the exhibition area, the 59/80R63, also attracted the appreciative gaze of Governor Zhao Long and leaders from relevant provincial departments, as well as from city and county levels. This behemoth, successfully launched in 2015 by Haian Rubber, is currently the largest size all-steel giant tire product in the world. This technology and product have filled a domestic void, and its launch has made China the third country in the world capable of producing tires of this specification. In 2020, this technological achievement won the first prize for Scientific and Technological Progress by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
From the molding workshop to the vulcanization workshop, and then to the finished product warehouse, passing through the customer customization product waiting area, nodding along the way, Governor Zhao Long highly affirmed and appreciated Haian Rubber's product quality system control, digital transformation and upgrading, technology-led innovation, corporate social responsibility, as well as the founder Chairman Zhu Hui's patriotism and spirit of great love. As he was about to leave, he sincerely said to Chairman Zhu Hui and several group leaders present: "The development prospects of Haian Rubber are like those of a twenty-year-old young person, a strong and vibrant good enterprise!"
