Since the beginning of the Spring Festival in 2020, a sudden and unexpected COVID-19 pandemic has been rampant around the world. Faced with the epidemic, Fujian Haian Rubber Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Haian") has practiced corporate responsibility and donated to the local Red Cross multiple times, working together to fight the epidemic.
In the face of this sudden battle against the epidemic, all employees of Haian did not shrink back. During the period when various countries restricted entry and exit, each department of the domestic headquarters performed its duties, on one hand, focusing on both epidemic prevention and production, exploring a working model under the normalization of the epidemic; on the other hand, guiding overseas subsidiaries and project departments to formulate epidemic prevention plans, purchasing and sending epidemic prevention materials to ensure the health and safety of overseas employees.
In this difficult and extraordinary year, when the country encouraged everyone to celebrate the New Year locally, the reverse travelers stayed in mining sites of various countries and project departments, overcame all kinds of difficulties, stuck to their posts, and with their own efforts and sweat, handed over an impressive score!
01 In January 2020, as the Spring Festival was approaching, the employees of the Serbian subsidiary still stuck to their posts. Lin Jianxiong, a technical engineer and recipient of the 'Outstanding Employee of the Year 2020' award (second from the left in the front row), was one of the employees who stayed at the mine. They worked diligently and conscientiously.
02 In February 2020, at an open-pit mine in Liaoning Province, China, during the epidemic, the employees of the Haian project department persisted in doing their own jobs well while taking epidemic prevention measures, fighting on the front line.
03 In March 2020, an outbreak occurred in India, and a nationwide lockdown was implemented for a continuous 21 days. At a certain largest open-pit coal mine in India, Indian sales engineer Akash Gupta went to the front line without hesitation to conduct thermal tests on the 40.00R57 tires mounted on the KOMATSU 830E.
04 In April 2020, at a copper mine in Jiangxi Province, China, a tire service team was conducting daily tire inspections and reporting summary work. An ordinary position, but an extraordinary commitment!

06 In June 2020, in Ekibastuz City, Kazakhstan, although the pandemic had begun to affect the country, the Central Asia Regional Manager still strictly implemented the visit plan and adhered to his job responsibilities. 07 In July 2020, a surface coal mine service team in Inner Mongolia, China, began on-site services. Despite the ongoing global pandemic, the project service team insisted on fighting on the front line.
08 In August 2020, in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China, despite the spread of the epidemic, Zhu Zhenpeng, the Executive Deputy General Manager of the group, insisted on personally going to the front line of the market. He led the senior sales team to attend the delivery ceremony of the NTE360A mining truck held by Northern Heavy Industries. This model is equipped with Haian-produced Luan brand 59/80R63 all-steel radial giant tires on both the front and rear wheels.
09 In September 2020, at a high-altitude mining area above 4,000 meters in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, there was a group of people from Haian. With the will of 'no lack of spirit despite lack of oxygen, no fear of hardship despite adversity, and higher realm at higher altitude,' they overcame one difficulty after another. Service engineer Ma Shaomin (recipient of the 'Outstanding Employee of the Year 2020' award, shown on the right) is still holding his post to this day.
10 In October 2020, in the Middle East United Arab Emirates, the global pandemic situation remained severe. As restrictions in various countries were just beginning to ease, a large number of employees from Haian's overseas business department volunteered and resolutely chose to head to overseas projects, rushing to this battlefield without smoke of gunpowder. Regional Manager Zhang Zhirong (awarded the "2020 Outstanding Employee Title," see photo on the right) visited the country's largest quarry to inspect the 33.00R51 tires, insisting on uninterrupted service.
11 In November 2020, in Jakarta, Indonesia, the head of Haian's overseas business department signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Indonesia's largest coal group.
12 In December 2020, the first batch of 27.00R49 tires arrived at a gold mine project department in Inner Mongolia, China, marking the commencement ceremony. Despite the severe cold, it did not hinder our progress. The team from Haian at the Manzhouli project department practiced the Haian spirit of enduring hardship and perseverance through their actions.
The people of Haian interpret responsibility and commitment through their practical actions, overcoming the pandemic and moving forward against the trend. It is expected that their performance in 2021 will be double that of 2020. They are fueling and speeding up the development of Haian Group's cause. They are truly the "most beautiful retrogrades" and "the loveliest people"! As the Spring Festival of 2021 approaches, I wish all Haian people abroad peace and health!
